For this santa I wanted to work on the quality of my lines and try to avoid multipul lines over one area. I tried using a tablet for the first sketches but for the final I used the pen tool.

I started off creating some ideas on mudbox quickly to see what I liked but although I could make wrinkles I didn't like the Alien I had designed so I started some 2D work and moved onto photoshop.
